We are currently looking for an HR Generalist for our Madison Heights office. This is not remote or hybrid.
The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for ensuring positive employee relations, HRIS support (Paylocity), recruiting, employee onboarding/off-boarding activities, support and implementation of HR policies as well as performing other Human Resources related duties.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for full cycle payroll process in our HRIS (Paylocity)
Responsible for full cycle recruiting, onboarding/off boarding, and new hire orientation
Interview job applicants; review application/resume; evaluate applicant skills and make recommendations regarding applicant's qualifications
Conduct new hire orientation
Assist in development and implementation of HR policies
Assist in the delivery of employee development programs
Assist employees with benefits questions and annual open enrollment
Maintains employee records ensuring completion and accuracy of detail such as employee information, job classification, pay rates, organizational structure and other key details.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Associates Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Human Resources (payroll experience required)
Knowledge of payroll, recruiting, benefits, on-boarding/off-boarding, compliance, and other HR functions
Strong working knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems (Paylocity preferred)
